and contribute to our growing economy. All are authorized for
employment and have completed a work orientation program.

Employment Specialists
at the International Institute not only assist clients in
looking for a job, but also provide support for employers by:
- following up with clients 30, 60 and 90 days after they have been hired to answer questions and to trouble shoot for issues that could interfere with retention and job performance
- providing translation, interpretation and cultural information
- providing cultural fact sheets that have been developed specifically to share with employers
The Employer Advisory Council
The Employer Advisory Council is composed of 32 employers from the hospitality, retail, manufacturing, healthcare and financial services industries. The Council meets quarterly and is an educational forum that helps employers to more effectively address the needs of a diverse workforce. The Council also advises the IIB employment and training program as to how we can better prepare our clients for employment.
